Hi! I’m Kristin, a 26 year old currently going through my “What Am I Doing?” Era after starting her first 9-5 desk job after au-pairing and travelling overseas for two years. What started as a simple creative outlet to scare away The Great 20-Something Meltdown became Handmade By Tara and a passion for creating beautiful jewellery that felt unique and expressive.

Each piece that I make is a once off design inspired by my love for the ocean and a wish for an endless summer. Made from gemstones, freshwater pearls, and other various beads that I find thrifting or through my endless browsing to feed my online shopping addiction - who says shopping isn’t a skill?
